PURCHASER’S VETERINARY INFORMATION:

The Purchaser must provide the name and contact information of the cat/ kitten’s new veterinarian before transfer of ownership will take place. Should the Purchaser refuse to complete the section below, he or she will forfeit both the ownership of the kitten as well as the deposit. If, after purchase of and transfer of ownership of the kitten has taken place, it should surface that the information provided below was or is fraudulent, breech of contract will be enforced. In the event that a new veterinarian or veterinary practice takes over the kitten/cat’s veterinary care, at any point during the kitten/cat’s life, the Purchaser agrees to provide the Seller with the updated information. The Seller reserves the right to contact the Purchaser’s veterinarian at any time during the kitten/cat’s life. The Purchaser agrees that the Seller will be able to discuss freely the kitten/cat’s health information, sterilization status, and well being with the Purchaser’s veterinarian; due to privacy matters, the Purchaser agrees to notify his or her veterinarian as to this agreement.

FURTHERMORE, IT IS AGREED THAT:

Under no circumstances will this cat/kitten be sold, leased, or given away without prior notification to, and agreement by, the Breeder. If it has to be placed in another home, it must be with Breeder’s approval.
Breeder guarantees that the cat/kitten described above is in good health at the time of purchase. If examination by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of possession reveals otherwise, Breeder will replace the cat/kitten with one of equal quality when available. Any shipping and incidental expenses incurred in returning the cat/kitten is the responsibility of the new owner. If the cat/kitten dies by the age of two years of a genetic health defect, the Breeder will replace the cat/kitten for one of equal quality upon availability basis upon receipt of a detailed necropsy report by a Veterinarian outlining the alleged health defect. This guarantee does not include the common sniffles, allergies, and/or problems arising from change of food & water that are associated with a change in environment. We do not guarantee against fleas, fungus, mites, or any type of parasites as these can be common in kittens and are also very treatable; however, none of our cats or kittens would ever be sold with us knowing that they have fleas, fungus, mites or any type of parasites unless mutually agreed upon along with a treatment protocol.
The Breeder has the right to request a second opinion from a Veterinarian of the Breeder’s choice, at the Breeder’s expense.
Kittens must be spayed/neutered before the age of 10 months. Please ensure that your vet uses Isoflurane and not Ketamine as an anaesthetic. Transfer papers will be provided once the veterinary certificate of altering has been provided.
The cat/kitten must not be declawed. At least one scratching post must be provided.
The cat/kitten is not allowed to run free outdoors under any circumstances.
The cat/kitten is being fed a balanced wet food diet and high-quality dry food. Mix old food in with new if changing over to a new food to prevent the cat/kitten from developing diarrhea. If it develops diarrhea, it may stop using the litter box!
The cat/kitten may be immunized against panleukopenia, rhinotracheitis and calicivirus at Purchaser's own risk. If FeLV, FIP, Chlamydia, or any adjuvanted vaccines are given this guarantee will be null and void.
It is further agreed that Breeder has the right to refuse adoption of the cat/kitten and refund any deposit fees given if, in the opinion of Breeder, there is a valid reason for doing so.
The Breeder and the New Owner agree that any breach of this contract by the New Owner with respect to the shipping (paragraph 2) and non-breeding clause (paragraph 4) will cause the Breeder significant damage and that, as a result, the Breeder and the New Owner agree that a genuine pre-estimate of such damages shall be the sum of $3,000 payable by the New Owner to the Breeder immediately upon any such breach.
This Agreement will be governed exclusively by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, and any dispute arising out of this Contract will be heard exclusively in a court of the said Province.

SECURITY DEPOSITS

A deposit is required to hold your kitten. The security deposit is the only way to secure your kitten.

The balance is due on pick up or delivery. The security deposit is non-refundable unless the Breeder cancels or refuses the sale. The Breeder reserves the right to refuse a sale.

REFUNDS

By adopting a kitten, the Purchaser understands that no refunds will be given if you change your mind. A partial refund, at the Breeder’s discretion, may be given only after the kitten finds a new adoptive family.

After full purchase, if you change your mind, security deposits are NOT refundable under any circumstances as it goes towards lost sale, time, and advertising costs.

Acknowledgement of Payment and Acceptance of Contract

Purchaser and Seller signatures that appear immediately below indicate that the Seller has received a NON-refundable deposit of $500.00, and the Purchaser has read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this contract. This document is a legal binding contract. In signing this document, the Purchaser acknowledges that he or she has read, fully understands, and agrees to ALL of the terms and conditions stated above.
